| There was the neatest photos of animals in all the elevators. I loved them! |
The weather improved a little today. At least we were able to have some sun. We spent most of our day in the adults only section called the Solarium. It was so cozy and warm. At one point we had to open a couple of windows due to the heat. I wasn’t complaining. I love it warm!
I didn’t bring any shorts but was happy to sit out in my long pants and a short sleeved t-shirt. Chuck wore his swimsuit and went in the hot tub for awhile. He loves the hot tubs. He meets lots of interesting people there.
We talked more with our stateroom attendant about her home. She was telling us her mom and son spent 4 hours in their parking garage due to the bombing in Ukraine. I had assumed her son was young because she is a beautiful young lady. However when she said her son was 25 years old we knew she was much older. 1) the masks hide a lot but 2) she just had beautiful skin!
She is trying to get a shorter contract (they are normally 8 months) so that she can go home and help her family. I am sure Royal Caribbean will accommodate her. She has been with the company for 13 years. She raved on how well the company treats them. I am sure she is anxious to get home. Her mom’s blood pressure is through the roof. I can’t imagine why? More prayers for this young lady and her family!
We had dinner in the Solarium Bistro this evening. It has a good amount of healthy foods.
After dinner we attended a show in the Two70 called Spectra’s Cabaret. I’ll try to explain the experience with some of Royal’s descriptions. It is a 360 degree room with seating in odd places for amazing views of constantly moving stage and trap doors. Cutting edge technology transforms 270 degrees of windows two stories high into an unimaginable multimedia theatre experience. The windows are actually screens that are transformed into a theater.

There are also 6 robotic dancing screens about the size of your 75 inch TV (I you have one that large) that move around and dance to the music as well. It even has a pokemon type of game you can use your phone to find the items in the room. Lots of fun for adults and kids! Spetra’s Cabaret was the performance we experienced within the Two70.
