Wow, already day 5 of this transatlantic crossing. Seas have been wonderful after the first day. We did find out today that we need to have a covid test to re-enter the USA in June from Amsterdam. This testing requirement changed in January. I know I researched the need for testing in each country but guess I failed to factor in returning to the USA. After visiting the customer service desk several times we are now able to get a test the day we leave the cruise. I’m not sure if that will be on the ship or after we exit. Only time will tell.
We brought enough covid tests to get us on each cruise so we are safe in that regard and there are no testing requirements for us to fly from England to Denmark or Denmark to Copenhagen. The tests will cost us $65 each. I wonder if uncle Joe will pay for those? The tests I purchased and brought with us were $25 each since I bought them in a 6 pack. Last night we watched another theatrical performance although not in the Two70. This was in the main theater and was called “The Gift”. It’s a story of a man who is visited by his departed soulmate in his dreams who helps him rediscover himself and find happiness again.
As Royal Caribbean Crown and Anchor members we receive a few amenities and privilege’s that are nice. There are multiple levels. We have reached the mid way point between Diamond Plus and Pinnacle which is the top. And let me tell you, it’s a long jump between the two. The gifts at this level for each cruise are anything from wine, champagne and Strawberries to towels and beach bags. I have about 10 or more towels and received two more on this cruise. I was scheduled to receive a towel and a beach bag. I had two at home and gave one away since I knew I was getting many more.

Well, the towels and beach bags are now discontinued so they are using the towels until they run out and then once the towels run out we are pretty much stuck with fruit, wine/champagne or some cupcakes. We aren’t too much into wine so not sure what we will get. A little disappointing.

| Yummy Truffles – a gift |
I did sign up for the chocolate truffles and received a box. They are amazing. They say the bags and towels are being redesigned by another vendor and will return. I sure hope so. Chuck doesn’t care much but I like them!
