Updated Itinerary, final cost of vaccines, READY TO GO!!

First of all, let me apologize for the layout of this post. I’m having so much difficulty with this site. Some of the formatting is off and it wont let me delete unwanted text. I have had to rewrite this post multiple times, and anyone that knows me, understands how much it all has to be perfect!!

The results are in…. Our vaccines cost us a whopping $1,636. I’m sure its a small price to pay to keep us as safe as possible when dealing with the unknown. Below is the breakdown of the vaccines we received. After Medicare, Chuck’s costs were not much lower than mine. The majority of my vaccines were not covered under insurance until after January 1. Our company changed insurance agencies and then some of the costs were covered. I was amazed and relieved especially after the first dose of the Japanese Encephalitis was on the old insurance. I’m just glad its all over finally. Felt like a pin cushion there for awhile.

We have updated our itinerary. It is coming together nicely. I have been adding other countries for our second round after visiting our home country in the summer of 2020. Our first year is 30 days here, 30 days there and after realizing how much we have to travel in between and pack and unpack, we decided on our second year, we will stay longer, as long as the visa will allow.

And year two is starting to look like this…...

After our friends recent heart surgery, Chuck decided he might should get a stress test. As luck would have it, the doctors here in Florida agreed and he is scheduled for one on Thursday. We don’t foresee any issues but want to take this opportunity for preventive maintenance just to be sure. Chucks dad had bypass surgery many years ago and he has been on a daily aspirin regimen ever since. Of course, now they are saying at his age he shouldn’t be if he hasn’t had any issues. We’ll see what the doc says this week.

We are only one month away to boarding the ship in Galveston. We leave Florida in 11 days and I’ll turn in my computer to my work on April 5th. That will hopefully be the very last time I will ever work for anyone. (God willing). The time is getting shorter and we are getting excited and a little nervous. We have 4 suitcases packed and ready. Living out of them right now. All the items we are taking back to Virginia to go in storage are packed and taped up. Goodwill got some more goodies too.

The weather here in Florida has been cool so we haven’t been out much. We’ll meet with friends, Audrey and Ralph this weekend for one more dinner until we leave. We sure will miss them! Next week we’ll be busy cleaning up the condo and packing last minute items.

Sorry that I don’t have any pictures to show off. You can only post so many sunsets! They all start looking the same.

May God bless you always!

Chuck & Lea Ann
