Its the middle of March and we have 2 inches of snow on the ground! Days like today solidify our decision to move south and travel ONLY in warm places!

2 inches of  Spring Snow

These last few months, we have been very busy. I have never enjoyed packing all our belongings in boxes.  Maybe that’s why we had so much “stuff”. Well, those days are gone. We now have enough “stuff” left to fit in a 5 x 10 storage room. This is what is left of 30 years of marriage. It will stay here for the next 5 years or more. And then when we settle down, if we settle down, we’ll start all over.

The house is now on the market! Yippee!! We have sold the majority of our furniture, mostly to friends. The plus side of that is they will let us keep the furniture until we sell the house. Its nice to have friends! If the house sells before we are ready to leave, we may be in a predicament.

We have a place in Florida. Yippee! The condo is in Dunedin, close to Tampa. We will move on July 1, 2018. Our lease is up on May 31, 2019. Its right on the water. Notice the view of the sunset from our living room window. I’m in love already. It is fully furnished but we will take some of our kitchen appliances so Chuck can keep up with his great cooking until we get ready to leave for our travels. Chuck says while I’m still working at my job, he’s going to be working on his tan. Funny guy! At least he’ll be out of my hair while I’m trying to get some work done.

We are leaving for a cruise this weekend. I am so ready for the warm weather. I don’t care where it is. We always travel on Royal Caribbean. We haven’t had any complaints so we are Loyal to Royal as long as they go the places we want to travel.  Our itinerary is listed below. Belize is on the list because we plan to spend a few months there in the fall of 2019. We will be checking it out.

These next few months should fly by. I’m anxious to get started on our adventure. I’ll post a preliminary itinerary for our world travels as soon as we are settled in Florida.

I’ll try to start writing more for several reasons, 1) so I can get used to it and 2) we should have lots going on and more to share. I’ll post about our cruises along the way.
