Today didn’t start out as such a perfect day at cococay. pouring down rain. We have been here before so we weren’t in a rush to get over to the island.

This island is a Bahamian island owned my Royal Caribbean. There are several others owned by other cruise lines in this area. This one has a very large water park area for kids and young adults. I’m sure some older, more fit adults may tackle it but not this old lady! 🤣

There are several white sandy beaches with tons of lounge chairs in and out of the water. You can even ride the zipline.

And of course there are lots of bars and buffet type eateries. This is all included with our package except for the zip line and water park.

Royal employs 4-500 people that live on Cococay. They also have extra help when ships arrive. Another large RC ship, The Wonder was here today.

After noon the rains cleared up and it was much warmer so we wandered over and walked around. I picked up my magnet and Christmas ornament that I’ll be collecting from each port/country. I got back to the cabin and realized the one thing I didn’t plan for was where to store these items. Will have to do some thinking on this.

The evening was nice. We had dinner with several of our friends and enjoyed entertainment by Mo5aic. This group was phenomenal. Absolutely zero instruments. All done with their voices. Look them up on YouTube, Instagram or webpage. Just remember to spell it with a 5 and not an S.

Another great day in the books! Loving it so far! Tomorrow is a relaxing sea day.

May God Bless you always!
