The Ultimate Gala

What a beautiful event. Royal gave us a great evening of fun, food and entertainment.

The dining area

The fun was walking around to multiple photo booths depicting our travels around the world. Taking selfies. We had a blast meeting many world travelers and reacquainting with many we’ve met along the way while planning this wonderful adventure.

Beautiful centerpieces on dining tables

On one photo, someone notices the slit in my skirt and said show some leg. So I did and the whooping and hollering embarrassed me and made me laugh. I loved it! One of my friends snapped the moment! I’ll cherish that photo forever! Chuck looks great in his maroon tux, although I didn’t realize what socks he had on. They didn’t exactly go with the tux. Oh well he still looked great.

These little ceramic vases were little suitcases. So cute.

The President of Royal Caribbean, Michael Bailey was there along with his team that we’ve been working with along the way. He gave a short speech and mentioned that the oldest person on the cruise is 87 and the youngest is 2. Wow!

China

Our dinner was amazing. Not much was left on our plates.

Chuck had chicken with sweet potato’s and gravy in that cute little pitcher
Steak for me

They had a band playing beautiful music from multiple genres. When the dancing started, we decided it was time to leave. We just aren’t that much into dancing.

Key lime pie and chocolate of course

We bid our goodbyes and said we would see them tomorrow. It is our big sail away day! The excitement wafting through the air is intoxicating. These are moments we want to cherish forever! How can this be happening to us? We are blessed beyond measure and thank God everyday for our many blessings.

Naomi was Royals project mgr on this cruise. She was great! Her and Chuck hit it off months ago on the Presidents cruise.
This blue globe at the center of the dance floor was beautiful.
India (Read above about this laughable moment!)

Tomorrow we will be shuttled over to the ship so we can get on board and begin that daunting task of unpacking all those bags. This will definitely be interesting. I sure hope it comes out as I envision it. Only time will tell!
