Checkin day for our pre cruise gala.

Our name was displayed on the TV

We loaded up the car this morning, hugged our neighbors goodbye and made a 4 1/2 hour drive to Miami. It wasn’t bad since we had a very nice comfortable BMW SUV to ride in. It helps when Royal pays for your transportation to and from the ship!

Our swag. First aid kit, sewing kit, sanitizer, and crossbody bag. Very nice.

We are staying at the Miami intercontinental Hotel , another Royal perk, for two nights. Tomorrow will be our Gala before boarding the ship on Sunday.

We finally arrived at the hotel a little over 5 hours later. Traffic was horrendous. When we arrived we were lucky enough that our rental car agency was in the hotel. We had planned to drive it to the airport and take a train back. So happy it worked out this way!

Talking about luxury!
Larger than my cruise cabin closet!

Our checkin was very smooth and we have an amazing room on the 11th floor. Actually this room is much larger than the one we will be staying in for 9 months! We were provided a welcome packet from Royal Caribbean and we even had a nice welcome message in the room.

Chucks amazing lobster and calamari

Tonight we met up with many of the World cruisers that we plan on spending alot of time with. We had dinner and caught up on everyone’s day. We all came in from different areas. California, Florida, England, Canada and Utah.

Two filet mignons for me! Oh my!

We had dinner at Biscayne Tavern. Everyone had a great time!

Off to bed. A big day tomorrow! The amazing gala.

All our new friends from all over the world!

May God bless you always!
