Earlier this week my beautiful and fun Mustang convertible went to its new home. The good news is I’ll get to see and hopefully drive it while in Texas. Our son bought it from us. Had a lot of good times but after we return we need to get into something more adult friendly. Like a truck! We are looking at a Honda Ridgeline. We both fell in love with this truck. Hope it’s all we are expecting it to be.
We finalized all suitcases and loaded them into the rent car. We had our vision on renting a Toyota RAV4. When Chuck saw it at the rental agency he upgraded to a BMW X5. Much bigger. Glad he had the foresight to think about it. I was worried it wouldn’t fit due to the two extra large suitcases.
We cleaned up the house from top to bottom. Discarded everything in the refrigerator,freezer, beer fridge (as Chuck calls the garage refrigerator) and cabinets.
Canceled all subscriptions that are not necessary such as printer cartridges, sun-pass toll tag DVR box on our cable. There will still be cable since it’s part of the homeowners package of the condo. Just no recording of my favorite shows.
We told Alexa to take a break for a year. All lights have to be turned on manually now. Won’t need her to do my grocery lists for 9 months and we had to set the alarm manually. We did keep our thermostat on so we can control it. We will control the house alarm and cameras through their own app.
So much to do! I had lists for my lists
We leave in the morning around 11 am. So excited!
