Itinerary Changes but expected

February will have a lot of days at sea. But Hawaii and Tahiti? Oh my!

It comes as no surprise when we learned we will not be visiting Israel for the two days we had scheduled to visit there in May. Very sad but we all want to be safe so it’s a good move by Royal Caribbean. Our days will be replaced by a stop in Asia Napa, Cyprus, apparently a party city and a sea day and some other stops had extended time in port. Lots of juggling for our dear friend Cecilia who is working on our excursions for us. She has been a Godsend and a phenomenal person and does not work for Royal! She’s just an amazing passenger who is now our lifelong friend! We love her and could not have done this without her.

Before changes

So far Egypt and Jordan are still on. Will be on pins and needles hoping for no changes as long as it’s safe. Looking forward to seeing the pyramids.

After

Our last itinerary change was over a year ago when they took Russia and Ukraine off our list. Again, we weren’t surprised there either. Followed this year with Maui due to the fires. Hopefully all our changes are done but I’m sure something will happen.

I received my hanging “cubbies” yesterday and they are filled with T-shirts, long sleeve and short, and my leggings. The bottom half are all of Chucks tshirts he is taking. This will hang from the ceiling with 2-100 lb magnets. There won’t be any room left in the closet.

Lots of medical and dental appointments this month to make sure we are healthy for this trip. I had a sleep study on Wednesday night. They hooked me up to about 15-20 lead wires from my feet to my face and head and some on my side and a cpap on my face. Had a camera in the room, a very cold room I might add and thin blankets and then said have a good nights sleep. Who are they kidding? Not my bed nor my home and all this crap on me. Plus it’s freezing! And they had the nerve to ask why I was so restless during the night. I literally didn’t sleep but about an hour. I didn’t enjoy that at all. I have central apnea meaning my brain doesn’t tell me to wake up when/if I stop breathing. A mild case but enough the neurologist is concerned. I personally think they would put everyone on a cpap if they could sell them.

Chuck and I were both zombies on Thursday. Had to go in at 8 pm Wednesday and he picked me up at 6 am Thursday. Imagine your normal alarm goes off at 6 am but had to get up at 3 am. I’m not sure how much I’ll get done today.

More itineraries to come. January was a good one! February is more tropical!

May God bless you always!

Chuck and Lea Ann
