Here we are in Fuerte Amador, Panama. We didn’t plan anything at this port since we are doing the Panama Canal ride. There isn’t much here at the port, just a little tourist shopping and lots of taxi drivers flocking over you. I do not like that!
They are building a nice new building for the port. It’ll be nice once finished.
We were told it would be 69 degrees today so we all dressed appropriately, me in jeans. But it turned out to be 83 degrees (F). A huge difference.
We stopped and bought my usual ornament and door magnet. I was unable to find one in our trip to Colon Panama last year. Happy I was finally able to get something at least!

Our trip was short with not much at the port. Our reason for this trip is the actual trip through the canal not Panama itself.
Our entertainment was great. Lance Ringnald , a 3 time gymnastic Olympian and puts in a great entertaining show. He’s been entertaining for 17 years. laugher is the best medicine and we laughed a lot!
And just like that another day is over. Tomorrow is the big day for some. They will be experiencing the trip through the Panama Canal for the first time. We chose not to get up at 5:30 am and decided to watch it on the TV monitors in the room.
