Last cruise before the big World Cruise.

San Diego port

We are sailing on a Panama Canal cruise today out of San Diego. It’s our final cruise before the big one! We are leaving San Diego with stops in Cabo San Lucas, Puntarenas Costa Rica, Panama, the Panama Canal and then Cozumel before ending this 16 day trek in Tampa Florida. We have sailed this route before, this exact same time last year. Only this time we have the pleasure of spending the time with my brother Lonnie and his wife Susan. This is their first cruise since Covid. So excited to spend this time with them.

Love the sailboats
USS Coral Sea located in San Diego a huge sailer town

We booked a dinner for later in the week to celebrate our anniversary and Lonnie’s birthday at Chops Grille, an amazing steakhouse on all Royal Caribbean ships.

Fighter jet on USS Coral Sea

After settling in on the ship, unpacking, and catching up with the family, we had dinner in Windjammer aka Buffet mainly because the first night dining on a cruise is typically crazy.

Cary Long – comedian

After diner was the traditional welcome aboard show. This time we had a quick taste of one of the performances, Tango Buenos Aires. Afterwards follow a very funny comedian, Cary Long. He’s very funny and helped take away the days tensions, if anyone had any!

Looking forward to a great adventurous cruise through the Panama Canal. Next stop in two days is Cabo San Lucas Mexico.

May God bless you always!
