Well, sadly this port was a bust! The most beautiful part was the ride in. It was amazing and worth the trip!
Our ship didn’t arrive until 1 pm. Our tender tickets weren’t ready for us until 4:15 pm. The ship leaves port at 6 pm and the last ride back to the ship was 5 pm. Oh and I’d I mention it was raining? And cold!
We finally decided to just stay on the ship. This is another port we will see on the world cruise.
The ride in was very nice so not all was lost!
I did learn something in my research on Kotor. Although there is a ‘Hotel Splendido’ from the James Bond movie, Casino Royale in the Bay of Kotor, most of the key scenes took place in the quaint spa town of Loket in the western part of the Czech Republic. Montenegro’s tourism erupted as a result of the movie.
We played games and drank lots of hot beverages. It was too cold for us!
