Cartagena, Columbia

Check out the backwards knees on the flamingo

This is a place we have visited before so we ddciddd to just venture out to the port. I remembered, actually after reading my last post for here, that we wanted to go back and look at all the animals and birds in the port. And we found quite a few.

1st time I was able to get a peacock with wings spread
Loved the peacocks feathers

It’s very hot here just as I remember our last trip here on October. We saw a little spider monkey getting into trouble and some beautiful birds. The ships only here until 3 pm so a short day. Then we are off to Panama.

Tropical flowers

Our seas were so rough getting across the Caribbean Sea that while watching last nights entertainer, Lance Ringnald, 2 time gold medalist in Gymnastics and a world champion, perform, the piano starting rolling toward the end of the stage. It was crazy!! They did stop it and put a large heavy stage light in front of the wheels to keep it in place.

Parrots all over the place

We also had a very funny comedian named Steve Mcgrew. He is from Arkansas. He’s worth watching on YouTube.

Monkeys face. ❤️

Leaving shortly for our next port. This trip will be more about relaxing and visiting with other World travelers than anything.

May God bless you always!
