Today we boarded the Vision of the Seas. A Royal Caribbean ship, of course. We will be gone 21 days this trip. It’s actually 2 cruises back to back leaving Ft. Lauderdale Florida. Don’t care much for the 4 hour drive from home but it’s so much better than fighting the airports and transportation between ship, home and airports. And we don’t need to stay on a hotel the day before, eliminating those costs and extra hassle.
This trip will take us to the deep southern Caribbean to Panama, Costa Rica, Columbia, Aruba Curaçao Bonnaire,Puerto Rico, St Marteen, St. Kitt,St. Lucia and Antigua. Plenty of places to wander and soak up the sun!
I will miss spending the holiday with my family and friends. It’s a little different celebrating with strangers. I’m sure we will meet someone in the ship. This one is pretty small.
We rounded off the day with our 3rd viewing of Top Gun! I can’t believe we watched it 3 times. But, it’s good dnd it’s free!
We will be at sea a few days before docking in Costa Rica. We have been here before so we will wander around the port to see what it has to offer.
