A windy warm start in Belize today! We are anchored out and will have to use dinghy’s or ferries to get to shore. About a 20 minute ride.
After you’ve seen so many Caribbean islands they start looking the same. We should have booked an excursion but couldn’t find anything interesting enough to go see. We have seen the Mayan ruins and it was excruciatingly hot today so probably wouldn’t have been a good day to go anyway.
So we just walked around in pore which was huge. I didn’t expect so many vendors and bars and people!
4 ships in port today and it was wall to wall sweaty bodies! We explored in and out many of the shops. Bought my Christmas ornament and Chucks bracelet. He’s been collecting those lately.
So many bars selling tropical drinks and conch food of every variation. They say this is a good place to have conch.
A brief storm came in and got everything wet and humidity increased. We decided it was time to get back to the ship.
Not much activity going on around the ship tonight. We had a great comedian at 11 pm. he does clean adult comedy. That’s a nice refreshing change.
The next two days are sea days. We will spend our days at the pool!
