Another Rough Day!

Back at sea for another three days before we arrive in Halifax, NovA Scotia. The seas are down to about 8-10 feet waves. Much lower that the 15 foot waves the first three days of the trip. The pools are like geysers splashing waves over the side. When standing by the pool, the water sloshes high above your head.

The menus are blank until you paint them with a paintbrush

Today is special. Chuck and I have been married for 34 years. Who knew we would make it this far. Marriage is hard bc work but well worth it in the long run. He’s my travel partner, my best friend and the love of my life. I can’t wait to see what lies ahead for the next 20+ years!

Tonight we celebrate by going to Wonderland. Such an amazing restaurant with a food fusion that’s hard to imagine. I didn’t think Chuck would like it but was pleasantly surprised!

On the left- liquid lobster – has lobster, bone marrow and caviar. On the right – a liquid truffle mushroom risotto. Yes, it’s only a spoonful of each.

Mystical mushroom garden dessert – the red one is pistachio white chocolate mousse. Orange ones are made with sriracha hot sauce. It’s hot and sweet. Mango sorbet.
