I know, I sound like a broken record! Two sea days to go, two-time changes to go. Our clocks have been moving forward 1 hour the last 4 night to get us to the 5-hour difference in England. However, since France is one hour behind England, we will move our clocks ahead on the day we arrive in Southampton, England. No wonder our bodies and my head are all in a whack! In October, we will do this again in reverse. We will fly to England (having the 5 -hour time difference all in one day) and then gradually reversing it on our way home to Dunedin, Florida as we cruise back. My head is swimming already! The good news is coming home on the cruise in October we have 25-hour days vs. these 23-hour days we are experiencing now.

So mostly sleep and relax today and tomorrow until we arrive in Cherbourg, France. Our entertainment on Monday was Goronwy Thom, a British comedian and juggler. He was hilarious. Our favorite part was that they let the kids and adults too on the stage again. During the day there is so much to do outside the ship especially if the weather cooperates as it did today. It was pretty windy but much warmer.

| Skydiving simulator. This was one of the instructors. When we tried it we didn’t get that high. He was doing all kinds of flips. |
One of the items we participated in was the world’s largest line dance at sea. So, Chuck and I learned the few steps involved to line dance since we didn’t know how in any shape or form. Then we all got on deck 18 and formed a long line all the way around the cruise ship, which is ½ mile. Our cruise director recorded it and will submit it to Guinness Book of World Records. Not sure how we would find out if we made it or not, but it was fun. Definitely great exercise.

Tuesday, May 10 was another warm day. We enjoyed sitting out in the sun warming up. Immigration was on board from England, so we had our passports checked. This will save us time on the day we arrive by not having to stand in line at immigration.

We caught the afternoon opening performance of We Will Rock You! It was a 2-hour musical that had over 6.5 million people in a record breaking 12 years at London’s Dominion Theatre. The music was all Queen and was phenomenal! Many standing ovations throughout the show.

We loved it so much we almost went back for a second show but decided to have a leisurely lobster dinner and a glass of wine. Tomorrow, we arrive in Cherbourg and then La Havre on the 12th. It’s been a nice cruise so far except for the time change.
May God bless you and keep you safe.
