We are getting close to wrapping up our time in Bali and move on to Sydney, Australia. But first we have to get through that dreaded packing routine and move to Ubud, Bali, Indonesia for a few days. At least we are not “deathly” ill this time while preparing to travel.

We passed these cows out grazing. They have the cutest little horns.
We have decided to look in Australia for some type of immune system booster to take before we board our 35 days of cruising. We just don’t want to be that sick again. We will also purchase a recommended product called Glen20.
It’s similar to Lysol in the States. I’m spraying EVERYTHING in that cabin! And probably more than once. We’ll still have to be aware that people don’t wash their hands so the buffet in the windjammer of the ship is a likely source of contamination.

We have started eating more in the dining room, which is healthier as well. We aren’t as tempted to go back for seconds. For breakfast we have to go to the buffet. So, there’s that. We’ll do what we can. We have also been watching the deadly Wuhan Coronavirus in China. We are traveling to that area, Beijing, Vietnam and Singapore in the fall.

I would hope it is under control by then. However, it appears now that there are cases in the USA so guess it’s going to be anywhere we may want to go. We’ll play it be ear and see what happens and absolutely take precautions. On a happy note, we have updated our year 2 spreadsheet of travels.

These boats are smaller like dinghies that the fishermen use to get to their larger boats anchored in water. We have seen a few boats pulled up on land.
Had to make a few changes. But, that’s the good thing about planning a year in advance. Changes can be made. Still have a couple of gaps to fill in but for the most part its planned and budgeted. I am having problems with obtaining the snapshot of the ports of call from the cruise sites. In the next day or two, I’ll attach it to the link on the right side of the page as Year 2. The one posted now isn’t updated. On the newly updated I included the ports of call for the cruises since we will be cruising for 115 days. I’ll let you know as soon as I can get the website to cooperate.

We are pretty excited about the second year of travel. We’ll be in Asia and South America and other places in between. It’s hard to believe that we are now in the middle of planning our visit back to the USA for 6 weeks. We have booked our airfare from Panama to Florida where we’ll stay for 10 days. We have doctor appointments scheduled. We’ll try to get our teeth cleaned in Fort Worth at our granddaughters dentist where she works. We’ll see some friends before we head to Texas. We have our flight booked from Miami to Dallas/Fort Worth Airport. Our next steps are to find a place to stay for a week in Houston since our grandson is graduating high school. YEA!!

We’ll arrange for a car for the 30 days we are there. It’ll be strange driving since we haven’t driven for awhile. Hope we can remember what side of the road to drive on! We’ll then find a home base of some sort in Fort Worth and visit all our family in Texas before starting our second year of travel, beginning with our first stop for 2 months in St. Croix. It’s hard to believe in just 3 months, which will fly be so quickly, we will complete one year of travel. It’s been the most amazing adventure so far and we cant wait to continue our planning for years to come.
We both said we cant imagine our life being any different. It may be difficult after 5 years to settle down. We may have to cruise a lot! 😁 We will miss the girls here at the Boathouse Villa. ILU – pronounced “E-Lew” is wonderful and the entire staff is great. She has our habits memorized and does such a wonderful job. We’ll sure miss our breakfast on the table at 9 am sharp and dinner at 6 pm. We have gotten a little spoiled! Her English language is about 70% if I had to venture a guess. She does a pretty good job in trying to understand.
ILU and Chuck headed to the bank on her scooter. Check out her toe socks! 😆
Sometimes we just all laugh at our pantomimes in trying to get our points across to each other.
May God bless you always!
Chuck & Lea Ann
