Walks on the beach, taking dips in the pool and eating some amazing meals pretty much sums up what we have been up to. The more we walk, the more plastic we see washed up on the beach. It’s so sad to see and helps us understand more what those advocating in America are fighting against.

| Mangosteen – you eat the white meaty part and discard the shell and the large pit inside. |
 |
| Whole Mangosteen and passion fruit. |
We see them clean up on some days but the next day, more trash is washed up. The extreme temperatures keep us in the pool and under the shade most days. The high today was 91 F/33 C. And no wind moving, makes a pretty warm day! Our cooks brought us some different fruit today and a cake.

| A chocolate smoothie bowl with bananas and peanuts. YUM! |
 |
| An Elvis Presley sandwich. Chuck had to pull up a video to show the young balinese girl who Elvis was. |
The fruit was called mangosteen. It was a white fruit with a large seed in the middle with a thick brown skin. It tasted like pineapple. It was nice and sweet. We also had a Balinese Pandan cake. It is a green sponge cake made from rice flower and pandan leaves that give it the sweetness and green color.

| Both of these homes in the same area, occupied. |
The girls here have a book with all the recipes in it. I sure would like to get my hands on that book! 😀 The food here is just amazing!

| The girls use this road on their motorbikes to get to and from work. |
We also saw some stray dogs on our walk. We were told that some may have rabies or may bite so it was best to just stay away. There is one next door that I’m about ready to pick him up and give him to the stray dog. He barks a lot! Like a chihuahua or as Chuck calls them, little yappy mutts!
 |
| We see many paddle-boarders and kayakers. We saw some guys fishing from these and even from tire inner-tubes. |

As I said, not much going on, just trying to stay cool. Which is much better than trying to get warm!! I’ll take that problem any day!
May God bless you always!
