| At the back (AFT) of the ship. I love this view! |
We are back in Dubai. We will be here for a few days. We are scheduled to leave on Christmas Eve. We have to get through immigration again! We have to stand in a long line to get our passports, walk outside and into the immigration office, get the stamps on our passport and walk back onto the ship. For us, since we are staying on the ship, we have to return our passports back to Royal Caribbean for the next trip.

These three sets of cruises have been the only time that Royal Caribbean has kept our passports. This was a requirement of the UAE country. We are a little confused about it but as long as we get our passports back when we leave the cruise, I guess it’s fine. From the beginning when we would ask questions about how immigration works or how the back to back cruising works with them having our passports, we couldn’t get an answer.
They said they honestly didn’t know because it was a different experience each time they traveled to this area.
Tomorrow starts the new cruise so that means all the unruly kids exit the ship and are hopefully replaced with nice children that believe in Santa Claus! It should be a fun week!
