This is called Maui Beach
We made it back down again to the south of Tenerife. It is very much warmer down there and more people speak English. However, its very touristy so its busier and not as quiet as here.

People enjoying a nice warm day.
Since I had to replace my power supply earlier last weekend, we talked to the salesman about fixing the cracked glass on my iPad.

This small coffee shop was called People Beach. 80 degrees outside and they are drinking coffee!
He said sure, 189 Euros. My button on the iPad didn’t work either so he would “work out a deal” with us on that one. For some reason Chuck decided to google the business and found the reviews weren’t so stellar. Pretty much horrible!

One of many resort hotels along the beach. They were beautiful but cost twice what we paid up north.
Why we didn’t do that to begin with, who knows. However, at that time, it was late at night and we already had to drive 1 1/2 hour’s to get there so we probably didn’t pay attention. We decided to take the iPad and spend the day at the beach and hopefully get a nice sunset too.

This wide strip area can be decorated around holidays. I’m assuming they have parades here.
We found another place and looked at the reviews on his website and he had only one bad review. And, any questions on the site were promptly answered.

The mall area was two story. It was very open, just a few steps or some had escalators. Many entrances were decorated nicely.
On the bad review, it stated to bring it back and they’ll exchange it or fix it. So, we decided to see what they had to offer. Very nice guy.

This guy was pretty good!
Even told us about all the people that stand out in front of their businesses trying to pull people in. (He was doing the same thing). But, he only charged us 145 Euros and fixed the button so it was a much better deal and that told me the other company wasn’t that great.

Water was beautiful but very hazy and windy. Guess thats why the surfing was good today.
Without fixing the button that didn’t work, we saved at least 45 Euros ($55 USD) . It works, the glass isn’t broken and we told him we would give him a good review but if the glass didn’t stay glued or the button quick working before we leave in two weeks we would be back!

Very south end of Tenerife in the background.
He was very nice and said yes, please do come back if that happens! While they were fixing my iPad, we walked along the beach boardwalk and took some photos, did some people watching and waiting on the sunset.

Most of the plants are cactus and similar to what you’d see in Arizona
We arrived around 2:30 and the iPad wouldn’t be ready until 8:30 so we had a lot of time to kill! Talked to a couple from Manchester, England for about an hour. They were fun to talk to. They asked us what we thought about Brexit.
We laughed and said we usually get asked what we thought about Trump! This is mostly a beach town so if you’re not eating or shopping you are on the beach.

A unique iron sculpture at the beach.
We ate a nice Mexican restaurant named Hacienda Miranda. We arrived around 5:30 which is very early for us for dinner and apparently everyone else. The owner said they usually get busy around 8 pm.

Love the waves!
Chuck had some amazing fajitas and I had a chicken burrito covered and baked in cheese. It was pretty good. The atmosphere is inside/outside eating.

This guy fell off his board and jumped.
Its covered but you’re outside. We enjoyed the food and wouldn’t hesitate to return. We wandered back to the beach for the sunset and all the surfers were out and the waves were up!

Sun setting behind a rock formation at the beach.
We had a good time watching them. Some of them were really good. The beach was nice and windy and it ended up being a beautiful day and evening.

BUBBLES!!
Perfect weather for people watching. Before picking up my iPad and leaving for the evening we stopped for a bite of Gelato.

It was so hazy the sun was just a round ball so we made the best we could of the pictures
Mine was an amazing Tiramisu flavor and Chuck had Dulce de Leche. Good thing we walked the 4 miles that evening!! Our day was perfect and we really enjoyed the day at Los Cristiano’s Beach.
