Wash day, politics

Not starting anything on politics just want to mention that it’s a good thing the USA doesn’t use the same delivery method as Spain. One day we heard this loud talking on a speaker but it seemed to be moving. What turned out to what looked like an ice cream truck with a bell/chime was a small van with a loud speaker telling you who to vote for. I’m thinking if this was in the USA there may be A LOT of road rage! It’s irritating to say the least.

Today we will wash the bed linen and towels. I’m anxious to see how thats going to work out on this small balcony. We have two so maybe it will span across both of them? What we ended up doing is stretching them across the two chairs and table on the balcony. It worked!

Air drying sheets and towels since we don’t have a dryer.

We spent a few hours at the pool. It was very hot so we didn’t stay too long. Its hard to believe that we could get that much sun at a high of 72 degrees. With so much concrete it absorbs the heat and makes the area around the pool a very nice place to read and relax.

The pool is a sparkling blue.

Loved the waterfall!

Friday, we have planned a trip to Gibraltar. We have been through the Gibraltar strait on 5 different cruises and each time, its either 3 am or so foggy you cant see. I would like to see the rock of Gibraltar if just to say I’ve actually seen it! Gibraltar isnt actually in Spain, it is British Overseas territory although it borders the tip so Spain. I’m excited to learn more about it. Our cab driver, Mario will pick us up at 6:30 am to get us to the tour group on time. We will also use Mario on our trip to the airport when we leave on June 5th in two weeks.

May God bless you today!
