| The reds in the sunset were pretty tonight. |
Since I’m still taking it easy on my ankle, we decided to walk a short distance to the farmacia. I wanted to get an ace bandage so I could take this tape off my ankle. Since the swelling has gone done considerably, its a little loose around my foot and its so difficult to wrap in saran wrap for a shower. Which didn’t matter because it still got wet! The cost of the ace bandage was 1 euro and 50 cent so we bought two just in case.
Next door to the farmacia is what we call a dollar general store in the states. It has everything and so cheap. We bought two postcards with stamps to USA and some Swiffer refills for the furniture cleaning.
We walked back up the hill on pretty even ground so it wasn’t too bad a walk. I didn’t use my crutches this time. Instead, I had Chuck hold my hand. It was pretty easy as long as we walked slow. However, I was pretty worn out by the time we were back in the apartment. It was good to get out and get some fresh air.
It took awhile to cut the bandage off my leg and ankle. Between the double layers of the tape and the bad scissors, we finally got it off. The ace bandage did pretty well, although Chuck was pretty rough with my ankle when putting it on. Guess he thought it was healed!
The weather predicted a coastal disturbance for today. What we noticed the most were very high winds and cooler weather so we decided to stay indoors and watch the boats fight it out.
A low impact, easy day. We plan to try out the Benalmadena buses. Sunday they are planning a triathlon in the city so we will probably stay close by and not get mixed up in the traffic. They are predicting very heavy crowds.
May God bless you always!
