We are finally on the cruise ship! We are Royal Caribbean fans so we are sailing on the Rhapsody of the Seas. Our total cruise will be 14 nights. We leave Barcelona around 4 pm today. Check-in was a breeze and now sitting in the Vitality Spa enjoying the view.

Flying into Spain above the clouds had a beautiful view of the sunrise.
This will be my first post by iPad. Not sure how well it’ll work uploading pictures. It’ll be a true test.

The coffee was instant but the tea was really good
Last night after we arrived in Barcelona for the night prior to boarding, we walked down to a quaint little pizza place. The 4 cheese “pepa” aka pepperoni. Chuck needs to learn some Spanish! Or maybe both of us if we are going to be able to communicate well. The cute little restaurant was definitely a whole in the wall but well worth it. The pizza was great. We got up to leave and realized they only take cash so had to go to the ATM to buy some Euros to pay for dinner.

Murals were cute on the walls of the restaurant

Glad I remembered to bring the European converters
|
A cute Christmas decoration at the hotel.
We didn’t sleep well on the flight over so we slept most of the afternoon and all night. More refreshed this morning. Had breakfast and espresso. Chuck can’t get into the espresso here. He wants real coffee as he puts it. Everywhere we go, even on the ship this morning he has ended up with espresso. I went to the restaurant and got him some. 😉

Barcelona, Spain
Well, looks like my photos aren’t going to upload correctly so they are all below. I’ll try fixing it when I get home. I can upload the photos but it won’t allow me to move them around or see them unless I go to preview. Oh well. Learning. Will have my laptop next time. I’ll upload the photos at our other locations so you can see them and I’ll reorganize when I get back home. Life is full of challenges. (Update: – now reorganized! Thanks to 2 free days of wifi on the ship!)
May God bless you always!
