FINALLY! Today we leave for Barcelona, flying through Frankfurt Germany. This will be another red-eye flight, arriving tomorrow around noon. In Barcelona it will be around 6 pm Friday evening or later as we have just received a delayed notice. Flying time, around 11-12 total hours. Travel time? Too long! Talking about jet-lag!! Ugghh. We will spend the night in Barcelona and then hop on the Royal Caribbean Rhapsody of the Seas and cruise to 3 different Canary Islands in Spain and then to the Bahamas. Total cruise is 14 nights of pure relaxation! This will our last one-off trip until we start our big adventure! Time is flying and we are getting excited!
I’m going to try to write something about each island as we visit so check back and see the photos. I wont have my laptop with me on this trip so we’ll have to rely on the iPhone photos for this trip. I’ll have my camera and able to take great photos but not able to get them up on the blog unless I can figure out another way. This will be a good learning experience.
Here is our itinerary, it doesn’t show what days the stops are but I can tell you that between La Palma, Canary Islands and Nassau, Bahamas will be a long gap. This is where I will try to use our internet service on the ship. Don’t hold your breath that it will be any good.
